Also known as a japenese willow these plants have narrow, slender leaves which emerge into bright pink tips during the spring which then devolps into a creamy white/green as the summer progresses. A sunny spot is what is preffered allowing the pink tips to really develop, any soil is not a problem aslong as they are always kept well watered. Prune in the late winter or early sping to allow the plant the best chance to recover as the new growth starts to emerge.
